That’s not a typo. The M5 Ultra Mac Studio Apple sent us for review is a doozie. It’s got a 36-core CPU and 80-core GPU, 256GB of RAM, and 4TB of storage, making it mind-bogglingly expensive.
Our regular benchmarks aren’t much of a challenge. So what would you like to see us throw at it?

Dom says it’s quick and easy to snap a propeller backback onto the HoverAir Versa, and then… it can fly! Shame that HoverAir isn’t transparently telling backers that this camera has been banned in the US, and shame on the Trump administration for creating the dumb drone ban to begin with.
Lenovo’s Project Swan has a screen that literally unrolls. The prototype could use better speakers and some weight balancing, but I love watching it in motion!

The Luna Pro is already out in China. We’re still waiting for a US launch, but it was on the company’s stand at IFA so I had a play. It’s single-lens, but can use the 8K sensor to capture 4K footage either landscape or portrait, and has the Ultra’s detachable display too.
I am largely uninterested in Android tablets these days — and yet! This just-announced Lenovo Yoga Tab Plus Gen 2 surprised me in person. Magnetically snaps right onto this “OneStep” keyboard frame, surprisingly excellent typing with 1.5mm key travel, firm non-slip leatherette base. Doesn’t open one-handed, though, and I’d like it better with a carry handle.
The Epilogue SN and GB Operator are dream gadgets for Nintendo cartridge collectors.
